  • So I know you recommend learning Kanji and their pronunciations spelerately. How do I do that with a core 1000 vocab deck on Anki? The decks have Kanji and spoken Japanese together so I can't learn them seperately. Any advice? Thanks!

  • Really awesome to see a cute female cinematographer behind these videos. Not that biological sex should matter if it's good quality shoots. But in my part of the world, we still sometimes hear things such as equipment is heavy, girls can't handle it, etc. Great job Alex!! Definitely would visit Asakusa again when I'm in Tokyo next.

Right now I'm 50% through your Cycling journey across Japan. I love watching these everyday videos, and I love ur soothing accent and voice! Keep it up! So yes, ur still getting new viewers/subs! - Bit of an odd question. I'm still farily new to the channel, but I was wondering what your working with in Japan? As far as I understood, your not a teacher anymore. Are you able to live off of your Youtubin life now? Best Regards!

  • I thought you were a prick when you made fun of Ryotaro saying "jam" instead of "gem". English is his not his first language and the way you made fun of him was in poor taste. It is such a minuscule error, no one would have even picked it up. Your Japanese sucks and I don't see him making fun of your Westernized Japanese pronunciation. I like you Chris but this episode, I found you so fucking condescending.
